The First Presbyterian Church of Wasilla Deacons Furniture Barn began in 1996 in response to the catastrophic Big Lake Fire, also known as the Miller’s Reach Fire, in which hundreds of homes were lost. It continues today to assist those in our community with furniture needs. The Furniture Barn accepts clean, usable furniture donations by appointment only. Individuals/families with furniture needs may schedule a time to visit the Furniture Barn and may pick up to three (3) furniture items for free.  

Please note:

The Furniture Barn is unable to provide furniture pick up or delivery. Items typically available are mattress sets and frames, sofas, small chairs, and desks, but there are no guarantees as availability varies from week to week.
