About: Our goal is to provide the tools and understanding as needed to talk with individual members and/or their families about their values and priorities, identifying potential mission projects consistent with their values. Stewardship and information about wills, trusts, endowments and how the Presbyterian Foundation can help us will be the main topics.
Ash Wednesday Service
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the Lenten season, a time of reflection, repentance, and spiritual growth leading up to Easter.
On this day, we gather together to receive ashes in the sign of the cross on our foreheads, symbolizing our humility before God and our commitment to turning away from sin and towards righteousness. Our Ash Wednesday service will include a scripture reading, prayers, and the imposition of ashes. We will also be receiving Communion as a sign of our unity with Christ and with one another.
We hope that you will join us as we begin this journey together, and that this season of Lent will be a time of deeper spiritual growth and closer relationship with God. May God bless you on this Ash Wednesday and throughout the Lenten season.
